Once a mixer enters the equation, I’m lost. I want a wooden spoon, to get my hands dirty, the therapeutic feeling of blending, creating… and I want the result to be wholesome decadence.
I think this cake tastes like a cinnamon roll, cake donut, and your favorite loaf of pumpkin bread all on one plate. It’s rich, and still moist come day three. Perfect alongside coffee at home, or something special to share with others for the festive season.
Best enjoyed warm out of the oven, glaze soaked into the center.
